LitONES EaseGlowXP H04: Dual-Zone Desk Lamp for Focus, Reset, and Wind-Down

LitONES EaseGlowXP H04

LitONES EaseGlowXP H04 is the EaseGlow dual-zone desk lamp built for heavy work-from-home days: focused task light below, state-setting glow above. One light for focus, reset, and wind-down—so your desk can help you start work, ease off between blocks, and leave office mode when you close the laptop.
It is not a basic single-beam desk lamp. It is not an RGB party light with a work setting tacked on. If you are still catching up on the category idea, start with our guide to what dual zone lighting is, then come back here for the H04 product story.

Who EaseGlowXP H04 Is For

H04 is for people who work from home most of the week at a fixed or semi-fixed desk: long screen hours, documents, calls, and deep blocks—and who do not want the corner of the house to feel like a permanent office after 6 p.m.
You will get the most from H04 if you want:
  • Clear task light for real desk work and more natural on-camera light
  • Background / ambient glow that softens screen-to-wall contrast
  • A full day rhythm: focus → short reset → wind-down
  • Mid-high pricing that pays for state switching, not “one more LED strip”
Look elsewhere (or start simpler) if you only want:
  • The cheapest single-zone lamp
  • Decorative RGB as the main reason to buy
  • A monitor light bar and nothing else
For entry dual zone without colored state-setting upper glow, see EaseGlow H01 (clamp) and EaseGlow H02 (base) in the EaseGlow series.

Dual-Zone Design: Task Light Below, State-Setting Glow Above

EaseGlow lamps share a dual-zone idea: light the work surface and the space around the screen. H01, H02, and H04 are all dual zone. What changes on EaseGlowXP H04 is the upper zone.

Lower zone — focused task light

The lower zone is your working light—keyboard, paper, long monitor sessions, and video-call face fill when aimed well. Per LitONES product specs for H04:
  • Brightness: stepless 1%–100%; luminous level up to about 1950–1980 lx (task zone)
  • Color temperature: 2700K–6500K
  • CRI (Ra) ≥98
  • Edge-lit panel with multi-layer diffusion for a wider, softer wash and fewer harsh hotspots
  • Power: 36W (DC 12V/3A)

Upper zone — state-setting glow

The upper zone is ambient glow for the desk background—not whole-home strip lighting. On H04 it becomes state-setting glow with five upper effects: Daylight, Candlelight, Cycle, Static, and Flow.
You can run the zones together or independently. That is how one fixture covers task clarity and the feeling of the space—without stacking a second lamp just to “add vibe.”
H01/H02 already give you dual zone with a soft upper ambient. H04 upgrades that upper zone so you can build Focus, Reset, and Wind-down recipes across a real workday.

Focus, Reset, and Wind-Down (Light Recipes)

These names describe how you combine the two zones for moments in a WFH day. They are not three factory “modes” on a sticker. You set lower and upper light for the job, then save favorites when you like a combo.

Focus — start the workday

When: You sit down to begin or open a deep block.
Job: Move from home-mode into work-mode.
Recipe: Stronger white task light below + Daylight / cool upper glow (or soft cool-blue feel via upper settings).
Why: Task light clears the desk; upper glow steadies the background so the screen is not a bright island. High-CRI task light also helps skin tones look more natural on calls.

Reset — recover between tasks

When: Attention drops or you switch projects.
Job: Ease off without fully leaving the workday.
Recipe: Task light off or very low + Candlelight upper glow.
Why: Warm, low-stimulus upper light softens pressure so you can pause—coffee, stretch, short reset—then return.

Wind-down — leave work mode

When: The laptop closes.
Job: Let the desk stop signaling “still on shift.”
Recipe: Low warm task light + Static / Cycle / Flow ambient color above.
Why: Color and dim warm light help the corner feel like home again. This is state-setting glow doing a job—not RGB for its own sake.
Start focused. Reset between tasks. Wind down when work is done.
Focused task light below. State-setting glow above.

Why this beats “brighter lamp” alone

A brighter single-zone lamp can still leave a dark wall behind a bright screen. Bias-only solutions can fill the wall and still leave your face underlit on Zoom. Dual-zone recipes on H04 let you keep task clarity while you change the *state* of the corner—without walking across the room to another fixture.
That is the EaseGlowXP promise in plain terms: sit and stay was the EaseGlow baseline; enter, recover, and exit work mode is what H04 adds with state-setting upper glow.

Controls That Don’t Break Flow

Changing light should not pull you out of a paragraph or a call.
  • Wireless dial: turn and tap from wherever you sit
  • Touch controls on the lamp head: brightness, temperature, upper glow
  • Favorite: save a go-to combination and recall it in one touch
Per product messaging, both zones stay reachable without a phone app for everyday shifts—useful when you are mid-focus and only need a small change.
Save a Focus recipe as Favorite for morning startup. Save a Candlelight-led Reset for the 3 p.m. slump. That is low-interrupt control in practice: one touch back to “how I work,” instead of rebuilding brightness and upper mode every time.
H04’s oversized edge-lit panel, metal damping joints, and weighted base are there for the same reason—adjust once, stay put, keep the desk usable for long sessions. Listed size is about 33.4 × 11 × 7 inches; confirm fit on your desk depth before you order.

EaseGlowXP H04 vs H01 vs H02

Choose H01/H02 if you mainly want dual zone comfort—task plus background—without colored state recipes.
Choose H04 if you want the XP layer: state-setting upper glow and a desk that can change with your day.
